RFW – Rotation friction welding
This procedure is suited for connecting rotationally-symmetrical moulded parts, and has proven itself to be an ideal joining technique in the production of what are known as mass parts.
The welding of moulded parts with circular contact surfaces onto large semi-finished products is done with rotary friction welding. A special constructive solution is always necessary when the halves of the weld parts must be at specifically-defined angles to one another after welding. For this, our delivery program offers machines with exact-angle positioning. Through appropriate geometry of the joint areas, the weld parts can be optimally prepared for rotary friction welding.
