USW Ultrasonic welding

Due to low-energy requirement and short welding-cycle durations, the ultrasound welding procedure is one of the most rational connection procedures for small thermoplastic material parts and mass-produced items.

During ultrasound welding, the joining surfaces of the plastic parts to be connected are heated with ultrasound vibrations. The joining force that is applied at the same time leads to the fusion of the melt, and effects a strong and permanent connection of the parts.
